Attention! We have had a name change; Luciole Press formerly brought you La Luciole Magazine. It shall henceforth be known simply as Luciole Press.

La Luciole is French for "The Firefly." This multi-purpose quarterly arts publication, with a blog that is updated daily (at
http://blog.luciolepress.com), is an effort to bring light and dark together in the same field. It seeks to cover many subjects, focusing especially on anything related to the arts... while also seeking to cover a diverse array of topics in the fields of news, environment, and opinions.

YOUR opinions matter, and are welcome. Feel free to join in and express your ideas. There are many fireflies in the field, and there is special pleasure in
seeing all of them light up.

'I HEAR thee speak of the better land,
Thou call'st its children a happy band;
Mother! oh, where is that radiant shore?
Shall we not seek it, and weep no more?
Is it where the flower of the orange blows,
    And the fire-flies glance through the myrtle boughs?'

     “The Better Land" by Felicia D. Hemans (1793 - 1835)
